HEURISTIC ANALYSIS
After my initial research with users, I followed up with a usability analysis which focused on 4 of the Nielsen Norman Group's 10 heuristic principles that were most relevant to the goals of home search apps/sites. I applied these principles to 4 different apps/sites that are used to find new places to live (including Craigslist). You will find the results below. Each app/site is given a rating for each principle of 1-5. 1 being very poor and 5 being very good.
